What Adult Time is

Adult Time is a subscription streaming service that gathers many studios into one library. Where a traditional paysite sells one studio's catalog, Adult Time works as a bundle: one account, one bill, and a catalog that mixes channels the company produces itself with channels licensed from other studios.

The footer of the join page states that the site is "owned and operated by Gamma Billing Inc." at an address in Santa Clarita, California. The same company line appears on Evil Angel, one of the channels inside the bundle, which is a useful signal of how the group is organized: several standalone paysites and the streaming service share an operator.

Originals and partner channels

The service splits its catalog into channels. Some are produced in house and carry an Adult Time badge, and the channel directory groups several of them under headings such as Adult Time Classic, Adult Time Studios, Adult Time Original Series, Adult Time Films and Adult Time Pilots. Girlsway and Transfixed are listed among the in-house lines.

How the subscription works

One membership covers the platform. A single account opens the channel directory on the web, and the plans are sold on term length rather than on which channels they unlock. That is the main difference between this bundle and a group of paysites that happen to share an owner: here the studios sit inside one catalog rather than behind separate join pages.

The exception worth knowing is the trial. On the join page read on the date above, the trial tier is marked "Streaming Only," "Limited Access" and "No Downloads," while the two full terms list streaming and downloads together.

Plans and billing

The plans shown on the join page on the checked date were: a 3 day trial at USD 1.00 that rebills at USD 19.95 per month; a one month plan at USD 9.95 that rebills at USD 9.95 per month; and a one year plan at USD 59.40, quoted as USD 4.95 per month, that rebills at USD 59.40 per year. Promotional pricing rotates, so the join page is the place to read current figures.

The join page names Epoch.com as authorized sales agents and SEGPAY.com as the authorized payment processor. The terms state that a membership "will automatically renew for additional prepaid periods of the same length at the rates in effect at the time you originally signed up until cancelled," and that users must cancel 48 hours before a term renews to avoid the next charge. Cancellation runs through the client relations portal the terms link to, or through the processor that handled the payment.

How this relates to the standalone sites

Several channels inside the bundle also sell their own memberships outside it. A standalone subscription covers only that studio and its own archive, while the Adult Time plan covers the channel directory.
